2009 UC Davis Sociology Graduate Student Research Development Conference

Wednesday, September 23, 2009

9:00am-5:00pm

Sociology Department

About the Conference

The Sociology Research Development (R&D) Conference is a forum for graduate student works in progress. The scheduled workshops reflect projects from students at all levels as well as all points in the research process. By sharing our work and giving meaningful feedback, we hope to encourage ongoing collaboration and progress through the department program.

Program & Schedule

We have scheduled eight workshops grouped into four sessions to be held in the Sociology department throughout the day on Wednesday, September 23, 2009.  To view the conference schedule and details of each session, please click here.

Registration

We invite all UC Davis Sociology graduate students to participate in the conference. If you plan to attend, please register using the form below no later than Friday, September 18.  You must register even if you are listed in the program as a presenter and/or discussant.  We welcome late registration, but lunch will not be provided for those who register after the deadline. Registration is free and lunch will be provided for those who register by the deadline.

Please select the workshop from each session time that you are most likely to attend. This is not a firm commitment on your part, but a way for the organizers to assess room size requirements. In addition, please select your lunch preference.
