Hamilton, Kyle, Shauman, and Smith are Co-PIs on Winning IFHA Grants
Vice Chancellor Harris Lewin recently announced the winners of second round of internal grant funding to stimulate new research and innovative ideas at UC Davis. The Interdisciplinary Frontiers in Humanities and Arts Program, or IFHA, will fund seven projects in the humanities, arts and social sciences and will share $3.6 million over three years. An external advisory committee of distinguished scholars recommended the seven projects (from among 30 submissions) as having the greatest potential for excellence in research and creative production, and impact on society. Professors Hamilton and Kyle are part of a proposal examining the many implications of temporary human mobility, while Professors Shauman and Smith are part of a team examining vocational education and poverty.
