Ali R. Chaudhary has accepted a tenure-track position of Assistant Professor of Sociology at Rutgers University-New Brunswick, N.J.

Ali R. Chaudhary has accepted a tenure-track position of Assistant Professor of Sociology at the flagship campus of the Rutgers University System in New Brunswick, New Jersey. He will be joining a vibrant top ranked sociology department with a well known faculty and graduate program. As a result of its close proximity to New York City and Philadelphia,  Ali will continue conducting research on the economic and political activities of international migrants in the United States. He will also be working with the Rutgers Center for Global Advancement and International Affairs to help build new institutional affiliations with universities and scholars in Europe, Asia and Latin America. After completing his postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Oxford, Ali will begin his new position at Rutgers in late 2016.
