Raoul Lievanos accepts a tenure-track assistant professorship, with primary specialization in environmental sociology, at Washington State University

Raoul will join the Washington State University (WSU) Sociology Department in August 2013. At WSU, he plans to continue his research on environmental justice policy development and implementation. He also plans to further his dissertation research on the relationship between racial and ethnic segregation and unequal risk of exposure to home foreclosure, food insecurity, environmental toxins, and climate-related sea level rise in different configurations of "risky neighborhoods" in Stockton, California and throughout the continental United States.
