Prof. David Kyle's book, "Human Traffic: Imagining Mobility in Unsettling Times", presented at Cambridge University, UC Berkeley, Interpol in Lyon, The University of Utrecht, and UC Davis.

In recent weeks (September-November), Prof. David Kyle gave several invited presentations on his current book project (“Human Traffic: Imagining Mobility in Unsettling Times”) at Cambridge University, UC Berkeley, Interpol in Lyon, France (keynote), The University of Utrecht, Netherlands (keynote), and UC Davis. Attempting to solve some "migration mysteries" and the challenge of understanding "Big Decisions" for social scientists, his current work explores concepts of cognitive migration, migration industries, an emergent  mobile underclass, and the socio-demographic impacts of environmental change on future mobility.
