Robert Faris wins ASA award

Robert (Bob) Faris and Diane Felmlee (Penn State University, UC Davis Research Professor) are this year's winners of the American Sociological Association Crime, Law and Deviance Section James Short Award for best paper! Their winning paper, “Status Struggles : Network Centrality and Gender Segregation in Same- and Cross-Gender Aggression” was published in 2011 in the American Sociological Review 76,1: 48-73.
