About

Samantha obtained an MPH from UC Davis in 2017 and also holds an MA in gender studies from the University of London. She studies health disparities with a focus on reproductive health. Samantha is also an experienced program manager and evaluator, and has evaluated programs including cancer control, chronic disease, nutrition, physical education, and food insecurity. Samantha currently serves as a graduate student fellow within the Sacramento Chapter of the Scholars Strategy Network and is working on a project to improve health literacy among youth populations within California to address concerns about COVID-19 vaccines.
