Following the campus guidelines for Coronavirus all UC Davis classes, lectures, seminars, labs and discussion sections will move to virtual instruction and remain virtual through the end of Fall quarter 2020, including final exams. "Piano Man" David Kyle provides commentary for LA Times article on human smuggling

Sociology's very own David Kyle was featured in the March 8 issue of UC Davis Magazine for his research on creativity and meritocracy, and for the creativity he displays outside of academia through his jazz band, Mercurial Mind.

In addition to his research on creativity, David Kyle is also recognized as an expert on the topic of human smuggling, providing commentary for the LA Times article published on March 4 about the tragic deaths of 13 migrants at the border separating Mexico from California.
