Christine (Shiuan) Pan is a PhD student in the Department of Sociology at University of California, Davis. Her research interests include international migration, identity formation, family and marital dynamics, gender relations, fertility, and well-being. She has been trained in both qualitative and quantitative research methods, including in-depth interviewing, data manipulation, latent class analysis, and regression analysis. Christine also has over a decade of teaching experience and extensive hands-on research experience in cross-national settings. As a cross-cultural individual and Adult Third Culture Kid (ATCK), Christine is continuously looking for opportunities to learn from others, share her perspective, bring unique insight to the table, and bridge different analytical approaches.
