Professor Xiaoling Shu co-authored an article with Ph.D. alumnus Yiwan Ye. The article, "Unequal but Widespread Despairs: Social Inequalities and Self-Rated Health Trends in the United States in 1972-2018," published in Social Science and Medicine, sheds light on declining health trends in the United States and deepens our understanding of health inequalities and their dynamics in high-income countries.
