Ariana J. Valle publishes article in Aztlán Journal

The article "Comunidades en Acción: Latina Activism and Solidarity Politics" was in the Spring 2026 issue of Aztlán Journal. This article reviews the history of Latina activism throughout various U.S. communities, and it draws on in-depth interviews with Latinas in Central Florida to examine how Latinas, in the contemporary moment, engage in and promote solidarity politics in hostile political and racial contexts.

The article can be read in full in Aztlán Journal. For more information on Dr. Valle's research, visit her website.
